How Our Dog Daycare and Training Method Works
Drop your dog off in the morning, pick them up that afternoon trained, exercised, and tired in a good way. Throughout the day, our certified trainers work one-on-one with your dog on the specific behaviors and commands you've outlined, mixed with structured group time so your dog learns to behave around other dogs. It's the most efficient way for busy San Diego owners to get real training without sending their dog away for weeks. Most clients see meaningful behavior change within 4 to 6 weeks of consistent daycare-training days.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is dog daycare and training?
It's a combined service where your dog spends the day at our facility, getting structured training from our professional trainers throughout the day. You drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. The day mixes one-on-one training sessions, structured group time with other dogs, exercise, and rest periods.
How is this different from board and train?
Board and train is overnight for 2-4 weeks straight, your dog stays with us 24/7. Dog daycare and training is daily drop-off, your dog comes home with you every night. Both produce real training results; the right choice depends on your schedule and whether you want your dog home at night.
How is this different from in-home private lessons?
Private lessons are 1-hour sessions where you're present, learning to handle your dog. Daycare and training puts the dog in the trainer's hands for 6-8 hours straight, so the dog gets vastly more rep volume. We then run weekly handler-transfer sessions so you learn what your dog learned.
How many days per week does my dog need to come?
Most clients see strong results with 2-3 days per week for 4-6 weeks. Higher-frequency packages (4-5 days/week) accelerate results further. We'll recommend the right cadence at your Discovery Call based on your goals and your dog's current behavior.
Do you accept dogs with reactivity or aggression?
Yes, with assessment. Reactive and aggressive dogs are placed in individual training tracks (no group time) until they're ready, and we keep them safely managed throughout the day. We accept cases other trainers turn down.
What are your drop-off and pick-up hours?
Drop-off is typically 7-9 AM and pickup is 4-6 PM, but we work with {CITY} work schedules, let us know what you need at booking and we'll see what we can do.
What training methods do you use?
Positive reinforcement and balanced, science-based behavior modification. We never use shock collars, prong collars, alpha rolls, or harsh corrections. The same methods that work in our in-home and board-and-train programs.
